With festivals, live performances, sports games, and more, we’ve got a full slate of happenings in Downtown this Memorial Day Weekend. Finding things to do? Easy. Deciding what to do? That’s a different story.
We’re especially proud to be the home of the National (yup, you read that right) Veterans Memorial and Museum so be sure to stop by and remember all those who gave their lives in service of their county. In addition to their regular hours, they’ll have special programming and free admission.

The long-awaited free concert with the boys of summer finally arrives. Free tickets for the concert are all snatched up but be sure to follow Columbus Commons on Instagram for the next best thing. FREE Scioto Mile Fountain Opening | 11 am – 2 pm

Celebrate the unofficial start of summer and take the first walk through The Scioto Mile Fountain presented by the American Electric Power Foundation. Dive headfirst into all the fun the fountain has to offer – plus a little extra. From 11 am – 2 pm enjoy games on the grass, music and an extra-festive atmosphere. More importantly, this marks the first day of the fountain’s regular hours of operation.

With live music, local acts, food, drinks and awards given to community leaders, the Ohio Black Expo is all about celebrating culture. Tickets start at just $15 but kids 10 and under get in free.
