Social Media & Marketing Coordinator (Full Time)

Downtown Columbus, Inc. is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute social media content, with a strong emphasis on video content, for several brands including (but not limited to) Downtown Columbus and Columbus Commons. This position would also support the team with additional marketing functions including website updates, copywriting, newsletters, paid media and more. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. This position reports to the Director of Communications.

Fountain and Facilities Technician (Seasonal, Part Time)

Downtown Columbus, Inc. is seeking a part-time Fountain and Facilities Technician to join the recently-renovated Scioto Mile Fountain team. Under the management of the Fountain and Facilities Manager, the Fountain and Facilities Technician (Tech) is responsible for daily operation, maintenance, seasonal upkeep, event oversight, and other daily tasks at the Scioto Mile Fountain, located at 233 South Civic Center Drive. This team, under the management of the Fountain and Facilities Manager, is responsible for quality, health, and safety control of daily Fountain operations, as well as the upkeep of the area surrounding and including the Fountain.

This role works as a part of a team, with other part-time Techs as well as contractors, and is also expected to work in conjunction with the Director of Activation and larger Downtown Columbus, Inc. (DCI), team to ensure the highest quality patron experience. The Fountain and Facilities Manager is the primary on-site point of contact during events and serves as the public safety point of contact; a Tech will serve as the primary Fountain operator and safety point of contact in the Fountain and Facilities Manager’s absence.

In addition, this position includes communication with co-workers, city departments, contractors, and public patrons professionally and courteously. Work hours may consist of extended and working outside of regularly assigned hours to accommodate variable duties.
