The Women's Fund Keyholder event brings the Columbus community together to tell the stories of women as change-makers in a challenging world. This year, the May 16 event features Geena Davis and Roxane Gay, a two-for you won't want to miss. Yes, you can still nab tickets for a mere $50. Or, if you feel lucky, keep reading to learn how you can win two of your own.
The Women's Fund strives to encourage increased opportunities for women and girls. And, they seek to outfit them with the tools they need to enact social change. Keyholder celebrates this effort, with women and girls coming together to hear the stories of those committed to gender equality. This year, famed actress Geena Davis and feminist author Roxane Gay engage in an open dialogue about feminism. They will look at how women are represented in media and the culture, and discuss the importance of women speaking up about change.
Are you committed to gender equality? Do you want to celebrate the potential of women and girls? Maybe you've been a feminist since you watched Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon carom off a cliff at the end of Thelma & Louise. Or, you're a big fan of Gay's insightful opinion pieces in the New York Times. So, this is your chance to celebrate all of that, with 2500 likeminded souls.
Just grab a girlfriend or two and get ready for a night like no other. Indeed, you might want to grab a drink beforehand and toast to your friendship. Oh, and if you're feeling lucky, you might just win two tickets to this special night. Just head over to our Facebook page and let us know what woman or women inspire you. We know you have a story to tell, too.
