With more than a decade at Downtown Columbus, Inc., Madison Cole helps lead strategic initiatives at the intersection of communications, construction, and commercial real estate.

She currently serves as Project Executive for the Capital Line, a two-mile, pedestrian- and bike-focused pathway connecting key destinations throughout Downtown Columbus. In this role, she has been instrumental in guiding design and construction while engaging an active retail community along the route. She also manages the Ground Floor Growth Initiative, working with public and private partners to strengthen the downtown retail environment in the corridor.

Her work is grounded in a career of strategic storytelling, managing communications for the organization and projects and events in its portfolio, including Columbus Commons.

Prior to this role, she supported organizations including the City of Dublin, Northwest Ohio Community Shares, and the PGA TOUR. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University.
