The Good Market at Food Truck Food Court

Join The Good Market every Thursday afternoon at Columbus Commons for Columbus’ best food trucks, awesome local vendors, and those good summertime vibes!

 

BAM Thursdays

Kick off your weekend early with BAM Thursdays (Bar, Art, and Music) at the Columbus Museum of Art.

Every Thursday, May 29 through September 25, enjoy live music, great art, delicious bites, creative experiences, and fresh libations in the Patricia M. Jurgensen Sculpture Garden.

Whether you’re winding down after work, meeting up with friends, or planning a spontaneous night out, BAM is your go-to summer evening. Explore the galleries after hours with free general admission from 5:00–10:00 PM, and extended museum hours until 10:00 PM every Thursday. Limited indoor seating is available at Schokko Café.

NVMM Independence Day Activities

The National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) will be open on Friday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day. Visitors are invited to join in a day filled with engaging activities and patriotic spirit.

Activities throughout the day include educational flag activity, create your own miniature flagpole, share your testimony, Red, White, and Blue Elephant Toothpaste with COSI, and a tour of NVMM with President Col. Bill Butler.

Nationwide Picnic with the Pops: Tower of Power

For 57 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music with hits like “You’re Still A Young Man,” “Down to The Nightclub,” “So Very Hard to Go,” and “What Is Hip?” They join the Columbus Symphony for a night that will have you on your feet and dancing under the downtown stars!

FREE Fountain Fitness Classes: Contemporary Dance

Hit the (fountain) floor this summer with Free Dance + Fitness Classes at the Scioto Mile Fountain! Get moving and cool off post-workout with a refreshing splash in the Fountain. With lessons designed for all skill levels, everyone is welcome. Advance registration is recommended here but not required. Plus, unwind after Thursday evening classes as the stunning Fountain Night Light Show illuminates the night sky.
