Open for play: 7 am – 10 pm

Court Rules

  • Use pickleball courts at your own risk.
  • Sportsmanship and courtesy are expected at all times.
  • Courts are used on a first come, first served basis.
  • If courts are all in use, please utilize the paddle rack rotation system to determine who is next in line. (See guideline below)
  • No food, glass, or smoking.
  • No animals are allowed on the courts or turf, except service animals. 
  • No bicycles, roller blades, or skateboards on the courts,

With 8 new pickleball courts on The Peninsula, this summer is the perfect time to elevate your skills, play a friendly match, or learn a new game. Downtown Columbus Pickleball Courts are open daily for all to use and enjoy.

Pickleball Rotation Guidelines

  • If courts are all in use, please utilize the paddle rack rotation system to determine who is next in line.
  • After a completed match, the 4 players should exit the court and allow 4 new players to go on. If score is not being kept, rotate off after 15 minutes of play.
  • When a court becomes available, rotate the “next” pointer in the clockwise direction to the next paddles on the rack.
  • If there is an empty court, players do not need to relinquish their court when games reach their end, even if players are waiting. 
  • Sportsmanship and courtesy are expected at all times. 

Find a nearby DORA drink

There is nothing better than an ice-cold beverage in the summer sun. Beat the heat on the courts with a DORA beverage from a nearby bar or restaurant. 

Rent Equipment from The Junto

Want to play but don’t own a paddle? No worries! Thanks to our friends at The Junto, you can rent pickleballs and paddles for your games. 

  • $5 – one paddle for 90 minutes
  • $10 – two paddles and a ball for 90 minutes

 

Once you’ve finished played on the courts, we ask that you return your rentals to The Junto, where you acquired them from.Â
