Stonewall Columbus Pride March

Kickoff at Broad & High Streets
The first Pride march in Columbus, Ohio was held in June 1981. Only 200 people were in attendance, and some even wore bags over their heads to conceal their identities.
When we last gathered in person, in 2023, we were joined by over 22,000 marchers, representing a vast array of non-profits, activists, community organizations, corporate sponsors, small businesses, and political candidates! The event will end just outside Downtown at Goodale Park for the Pride Festival & Resource Fair.

The story of the fight for LGBTQ+ equality is linked to this music, which evokes the struggles, heartache, and liberation of queer lives then and now. Organized by CAPA.
