As Safer Downtown’s Dispatch and Technology Manager, Ray oversees the team of Dispatch Operators and manages the daily operations of the control room within the Safer Downtown Command Center. He also leads technology initiatives that support both functions.

Before joining Downtown Columbus Inc., Ray worked in Cyber Operations at John Glenn International Airport, where he protected critical systems by monitoring and responding to security incidents, running phishing awareness campaigns, and leading tabletop exercises to strengthen collaboration across departments. He also supported TSA and CMMC compliance audits, helping maintain high security standards.

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Emergency Management and a Master of Legal Studies in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. Outside of work, you’ll often find him skating, shooting hoops, or cheering at local sporting events
