As Activation Manager, Jacob plans and executes numerous events and pop-up programming around Downtown Columbus.

Jacob previously supported the Columbus Commons team as an Event Operations Coordinator where he coordinated on-site operations of the park’s 200+ annual events.  Before joining Downtown Columbus, Inc. in 2024, Jacob worked as an Assistant Athletic Academic Counselor for the Ohio State Student-Athlete Support Services Office.  Prior to that role, he was an Event Coordinator/Assistant for the OSU Department of Athletics.  Jacob earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Industry in 2021 and Master of Science in Kinesiology; Sport Management in 2022, both from Ohio State University. He currently serves on the Emerging Leaders Board with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission.
