The winner of the 2024 Tony Award® for Best Musical is THE OUTSIDERS. Adapted from S.E. HINTON’s seminal novel and FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA’s iconic film, this thrilling new musical features a book by ADAM RAPP with JUSTIN LEVINE, music and lyrics by JAMESTOWN REVIVAL (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) and JUSTIN LEVINE, music supervision, orchestration, and arrangements by JUSTIN LEVINE, choreography by RICK KUPERMAN & JEFF KUPERMAN, and direction by Tony Award® winner DANYA TAYMOR. Entertainment Weekly says, “It has the power to inspire an entire generation.” In Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1967, Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade and their Greaser family of ‘outsiders’ battle with their affluent rivals, the Socs. THE OUTSIDERS navigates the complexities of self-discovery as the Greasers dream about who they want to become in a world that may never accept them. With a dynamic original score, THE OUTSIDERS is a story of friendship, family, belonging…and the realization that there is still “lots of good in the world.”
Experience the renowned works SEVEN SONATAS and IGNITE at the Davidson Theatre. Tickets required.
Welcome to Jaja’s, a buzzing, bustling Harlem salon where West African immigrant braiders create masterpieces on New Yorkers’ heads. Pull up a chair as love blossoms, dreams flourish, and secrets are revealed. But beneath the surface lies a current of uncertainty, pushing this close-knit community to confront the challenges of being seen as outsiders in the place they call home. Fresh off a twice-extended Broadway run, this laugh-out-loud comedic gem “is equally affecting as it is hilarious” (Entertainment Weekly). After a sold-out run of School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play, Tony Award-nominated playwright (and Ohio State graduate) Jocelyn Bioh and Columbus director Shanelle Marie return to The Contemporary!

Downtown’s very own Topiary Park is getting attention for its feature on Love Is Blind 👀🌳📺
The park was the backdrop for one of Vic & Christine’s post-engagement dates 💍
Topiary Park is a breathing depiction of Georges Seurat’s painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. The shrubs and trees are trimmed to recreate people, boats, and animals from the painting. Nestled in next to @columbuslibrary and across from @topiaryparkcrossing, Topiary Park is a scenic escape in Downtown!
Did you catch Topiary Park on the show?!
NEW DOWNTOWN COFFEE TRAILER: CAFÉ STAI MANSO ☕❤️
Meet us in the parking lot in front of the Warehouse District mural for eye-catching coffee and seasonal drinks from the newest coffee trailer, @cafestaimanso ☕
Although they’ve only been open for a couple weeks, the coffee trailer has been a popular place to grab a drink and strike up a fun conversation with the owners. Their intention for Cafe Stai Monso was for it to be a third-place to come and “take it easy” as the Italian name of the shop implies.
Pictured in the video are iced drinks including the Maple Shakes, Toasty Mallow, Choc & Roses, and a Vanilla Latte 🍫🌹 NEW: they just added cold foam to take their drinks to the next level!! Have you tried it yet?
