Creativity looks different in every set of hands and is shaped into new meanings through artistic exchange. With that idea in mind, April’s Artist Commune will feature a community-centered collage event in collaboration with Queer Art Club Columbus!
You can choose from a set of themes to guide your process or feel free to create on your own. Inspired by fruit across the rainbow, this event encourages bright colors and fun imagery as a starting point for exploration. A wide range of materials—including magazines, books, and pre-cut images—will be available for artists of all experience levels.
Toward the end of the two-hour session, we’ll gather in small groups to share and trade work. Through artistic exchange, we’ll embrace collaboration and leave with something shaped by the community around us.
Artist Commune is free and open to all!
Celebrate Earth Day with COSI! Explore how water moves through cities, learn about environmental career paths, meet some of the animals we share our home with, and hear from a panel of Ohio’s environment experts!
