An artist statement is a concise and powerful way to describe our creative work and process. In this interactive session for September’s Artist Commune, we will learn how to write an artist statement that reveals the beauty and power of our work. Artists and writers of all disciplines are welcome to participate. Come prepared to create and share a draft of your artist statement in a creative and supportive setting.
We encourage you to bring photos or examples of your work to share with the group!
