Seems national journalists have discovered something we’ve known all along: Downtown Columbus is a seriously sublime spot for foodies and craftspeople. And what could be as much fun as shopping the wares of our butchers, bakers and candlestick makers? Becoming one of them, of course.
Every Tuesday and Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., June to October, scads of farmers and artisans arrive downtown to display fresh produce, hand-crafted wares and tantalizing tastes to tempt downtown workers and other shoppers. Stroll through with a friend, grab some nosh and fill up a shopping bag.
While the Rhodes State Office tower is under construction, the market will move across the street to the Ohio Statehouse. Rest assured, you'll find the same great treats.

Every Thursday from May through October, 10 food trucks roll onto the walkways of Columbus Commons, fire up flattops and throw open their graphic-clad doors to thrill throngs of hungry lunch goers, locals and out-of-towners with everything from bowls to barbecue.
