Sculptural Expressions by Teda Theis opens August 3 at Studios on High Gallery and continues through September 5th. Theis, who is known for her atmospheric, acrylic landscapes, has created works for this exhibition which expand her paintings with dimensionality. The subtle color and rich surfaces of her landscapes are transferred into painterly constructions and sculptures built with reclaimed wood, found objects and ceramics.The artist will be present for the August 3rd Gallery Hop.
