Tuesday's Market was met with a windy welcome. The cooler day didn't deter any shoppers from perusing produce and merchandise, despite the strong wind blowing through the alley.
Many shoppers took advantage of the credit card and EBT tokens, and much of the food items throughout the Market were snapped up.
As the heart of summer approaches, even more farmers are making their way to the Market. This week, Pearl Market welcomed Jones Farm Fresh Produce, Och's Fruit Farm and Persinger Farm back to the alley. With crates full of sweet corn, tomatoes, zucchini, beans and greens, customers found plenty to satisfy their produce cravings.
Pearl Market has proven to be a go-to lunch spot for many employees downtown.
Columbus Athenaeum has routinely sold out of their delicious tomato basil focaccia, and Challah!, Paddy Wagon and Pitabilities keep changing up their menus to offer even more delectable options.
The Brave Whether, a local singing duo, added to the calming atmosphere of Pearl Market. These new performers sang a beautiful rendition of John Legend's "All of Me" among other original tunes, and helped make the Market an afternoon destination.
Come to Pearl Market this week and check out the new additions or listen to a local performer. It will be the best decision you make all day.
