Columbus Clippers vs. Toledo Mud Hens

Why? ’Cause it’s Dime-A-Dog Night as our hometown heroes, the Columbus Clippers face their in-state foe, the Toledo Mud Hens. Even better, the Clippers are ahead of their rivals in the International League West standings.

 

Artist Voices: Creations from Columbus Recreation & Parks Community Center

Believe art can change the world? Then come to the Loft Gallery for an exhibition featuring the works of emerging young artists. Created during art classes at 29 different community centers, these pre-K through teen artists are sharing an expressive collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, and pottery.

 

Thurber House Summer Literary Picnics: Kaira Rouda

Good books, good food, and good friends converge on the lawn of the Thurber House as author Kaira Rouda comes back home to Columbus to share from her second psychological thriller, The Favorite Daughter. Always a crowd-pleaser, Rouda will talk, read, and sign books. And, of course, the Thurber House will be open for your touring pleasure.

 

Nightlight 614: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Chill out surrounded by Downtown Columbus’ captivating cityscape and among your 21-and-over friends, neighbors, and coworkers. This low-key outdoor movie event starts with music, food trucks, wine, and craft beer, and ends with an under-the-stars showing of this highly popular fun flick starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.

Commons for Kids: Go Green and Get Outdoors Day
