Get to know your city in a new way with the Columbus Historical Society 2015 Columbus City Tour Series. The popular tour has been held monthly through the summer, but comes to a close this Saturday. This is your last chance to learn about the past, the present and the future of Ohio’s capitol city.
The Bucks don’t kick off until 8 p.m., so fill your pre-game day with this two and half hour tour. You’ll explore Downtown, including the Ohio Statehouse, the Arena District, the Short North, German Village, Olde Towne East, the Discovery District, Franklin Park and more. History comes to life with fascinating stories of national significance, local history and lore, and even a little international intrigue.
The cost is $30 per person, $28 for senior citizens and $25 for Columbus Historical Society members. You must register and pay in advance. Plan to meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Columbus Historical Society Gallery.
