As folks in Oz once heard from Dorothy, there's no place like home. But, most of us like to get out now and again. BalletMet gives you a great reason with their upcoming production of Dorothy and the Prince of Oz, May 4 - 6 at the Ohio Theatre. This ballet returns us to the land of Oz, telling a story likely new to most. Fun fact: there are 15 books in the series about Oz. And. this ballet is based on one of the later stories which you probably don't know.

So, get ready to witness Edwaard Liang's choreography which interprets this story of Dorothy, Glinda and Scarecrow's return to Oz to rescue a Prince from warring kingdoms before time runs out. This beautiful collaboration with Tulsa Ballet will see its Columbus premier during these performances. With beautiful ballet, amazing puppetry and scenery by talented artist Basil Twist, and a score arranged by Oliver Peter Graber, it's a performance you won't want to miss.
