The 2017 Arnold Sports Festival welcomes 20,000 athletes from around the world for an event like no other, and it happens right downtown. Some may forget what a huge deal this is because it’s just down the street, but just think—you have a front row seat to this international sensation.

From March 2 - 5, athletes will compete in 70 sports and fitness events, from the ones you probably think of, like professional bodybuilding and physique contests, to others you may not expect, such as archery, cheerleading, lacrosse and table tennis.

So get ready to take in the spectacle. The Greater Columbus Convention Center is home to the bodybuilding and strongman competitions, which are sure to blow your mind. (Good news: the stages have been structurally reinforced). Events include the Arnold Classic, 212, Fitness International, Figure International, Arnold Women’s Physique International Finals, the Arnold Strongman Classic, Bikini International and Arnold Classic Men’s Physique Finals.

The Ohio Expo Center hosts a wide array of sports and events, including the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO, archery, baton twirling, boxing, gymnastics and more. And if you are inspired toward your own fitness journey, head over to the 2017 Arnold Fitness EXPO at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, where you’ll find more than 1,000 booths of the hottest trends in sports apparel, nutrition, equipment and more.

Most events and both EXPOs are included in a Daily EXPO ticket, priced at $15 each or 3 for $40 in advance ($20 at the door); children 14 and under are free. Some events do require special separate tickets, so check out the website for details. Free shuttles run from the Ohio Expo Center to the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
