The Olive and the Grape, a first year Pearl Market vendor based in Cleveland, sells specialty olive oils, vinegars and spices. It was founded in the spirit of living a healthy life, but few know olive oil's incredible health benefits.

It lowers cholesterol, blood pressure and is high in antioxidants. Olive oil is also being studied as a preventative measure for certain strains of cancer.

All oils and vinegars sold by The Olive and the Grape are made by small families in the states and across the ocean in Italy. The company doesn't deal with large distributors and chooses to support smaller ventures. They are a staple at many central Ohio farmers' markets.

Cinnamon peach balsamic is one of this summer's best-selling products. Jody Morgan, the company's Market representative, is quick to share flavorful ways to incorporate this and other balsamic vinegars into your meals. "Cinnamon peach is amazing in the summer. People put it in their teas, use it when grilling fruit and drizzle it on their salads," said Morgan.
