Moonlight Market is a monthly outdoor street festival/market place on Gay Street in Downtown Columbus. It takes place the second Saturday of the month, April through October. Brick-and-mortar businesses in the area stay open late (pssst…and offer special promotions), and more than 100 sidewalk vendors pop-up to sell a wide variety of artisan products. You’ll find handmade jewelry, t-shirts, specialty food items and everything in between.
Whether you’re looking for fine dining, comfort food or just a slice of pizza, Gay Street offers some of the best dining in Columbus. Grab a seat at one of the sidewalk patios for some al fresco dining as you listen to the street musicians who keep the festivities lively. Just in case this is your first Moonlight Market, we want to let you know it’s easy to get there. The market takes place primarily on Gay Street between Front and Fourth Streets, which makes for easy access to many transit options, including car-share, bike-share and COTA.
