Pearl Market marks our kickoff to the summer season, and one month from today, Downtowners will stroll through the alleyways of Pearl and Lynn to buy fresh produce, baked goods and unique handmade treasures. Every Tuesday and Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., from June 3 through October 14, our own Pearl Alley gem transforms into a pop-up market complete with fresh produce and merchandise. This year expect to see some changes in the alley. Crews have been hard at work with alley improvements to bring some new light to the alley to help spur permanent retail, but in the meantime Pearl Market will provide just the retail fix you need. And, if installation schedules get a little delayed, watch for a sign or two to pardon our dust. But don’t worry, there will still be plenty to buy and see.

If you’re new to Pearl Market, what will you find? Think fresh produce first and foremost, and things that are in season in Ohio. By the beginning of June, you may see the first crops of sun-ripened strawberries, and you should most definitely see a variety of lettuce, radishes and green onions—all the fixings for a great salad. But what salad is complete without a loaf of delicious bread? You’re in luck there, too. Great Harvest Bread returns to Pearl Market this year.

Don’t stop there. Check out all the other food vendors and peruse some of the handmade items like jewelry, soaps and lotions. With new vendors arriving every week, you’re gonna want to make Pearl Market a must-do every week.
