Have you resolved to take in more live theatre? Or perhaps broaden your children’s arts horizons? Good news – there are three live shows kicking off this week to help you check one resolution off your list.

Mayhem & Mystery Dinner Theatre offers an offbeat and interactive way to take in the theatre. This new production tells the story of Pat Sways, a dancer for hire on hand for a dance contest. You can join this dance derby and help solve the crime that struts to the forefront. The show runs Tuesdays January 8 – February 26 from 7 – 9:30 p.m. at The Spaghetti Warehouse. For more information, visit their website.

Available Light Theatre’s run of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys begins January 10. This “wickedly funny” play examines education while delving into issues of class, race and the difficulties of growing up gay. The show runs through January 19, Thursday – Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. For more information, visit their website.

And for the kiddos Columbus Children’s Theatre raises the curtain on Snow White, which runs from January 10 – 27, Thursday through Sunday. And tickets will only set you back between $11 and $21. What better way to find out who is fairest of all? For show times and tickets, visit their website
