You'll see Palmo Aracri making pizza and pasta the way he learned in Calabria, Italy. Palmo and his wife, Dee, have been right downtown for more than 20 years. The new kid on the block is Pizza Rustica (17 South High Street). They offer a variety of pizzas from a SkinniE Pizza to gluten-free options, but the one that caught our attention was the chocolate pizza. Oh yeah. Start with a creamy chocolate, hazelnut Nutella spread between two delicious, flaky crusts. Layer a few fresh strawberries and drizzle a little more chocolate. And a winner is born.
