Tis the season to take in the creepy; fa-la-la-la-la; la-la-la-la. Now through November 9 head over to Franklin Park Conservatory and take in Scary Plants, a celebration of the oddities of nature, or exotic plant species (including the kind that eat).
Scary Plants features a variety of strange, frightening and dangerous botanicals. Learn more about carnivorous plants and find out what freaky fronds might be growing in your own yard. You can also take in sculptures designed and built by TORK Inc., which let you experience carnivorous plants from the bug's point of view.
Each day at 2 p.m. you can take in the Scary Plant Demonstrations. Touch the plants, witness a Venus flytrap feeding, and more. There's not better way to take in the science-y side of Halloween.
