A few weeks ago we announced that CoGo Bike Share is now online. Bike sharing is such a great concept, offering an inexpensive way to tool around the capital city. You can choose an annual membership or pay just 6.00 for a 24-hour pass (though each ride is limited to 30 minutes; this is what differentiates bike sharing from bike rental). The six buck pass works great though because the share stations are all over downtown, so you can ride from one station to the next as you make your way around.
Now we have two great offers for bike share enthusiasts. First, Yay Bikes! is offering bike tours of downtown for no cost at all. Just head to the Broad and High CoGo station for the chance for an introduction to CoGo Bike Share and urban riding pointers. The tours are available twice weekly during the lunch hour through October. To register, click here.
If you are already a CoGo maniac and are chomping at the bit (is there a biking metaphor that is more apt?) for an annual membership, we have you covered. Capital Crossroads SID is giving away eight one-year memberships.
If you want to enter to win, comment on this post and let us know what you love about biking in Columbus. Be sure to leave your email so we can reach out to you if you win.
