Gotta be efficient, right? COTA sure thinks so. To that end they are seeking to reduce or move bus stops that are underutilized or spaced too closely together. The lines being evaluated include the #2 (North High/East Main), the #21 (Night Owl) and the #31 (Worthington).
Perhaps you ride one of these lines. Perhaps you have some thoughts on the matter. Fear not, COTA wants to hear what you have to say. They are holding public comment meetings to garner input from the riding public. Though one meeting is already in the books, you can still hit one of the remaining two.
The first is Tuesday, January 29 at 6 p.m. at the COTA Downtown Office at 33 North High Street. The second is Tuesday, February 5 at 6 p.m. at the Linden Transit Center at 1390 Cleveland Avenue. The public comment period for the proposed May service changes concludes on February 8. For a full list of bus stops being evaluated, visit the COTA website.
If you can’t make one of the meetings, you can still share your thoughts. You can call the COTA Customer Service Center at 614.228.1776 or mail your comments to:
