Do you despair of ever getting your kids interested in art? Enter the beloved LEGO. Though it kicked off a couple of weeks ago, Think Outside the Brick: The Creative Art of LEGO exhibit at the Columbus Museum of Art may just do the trick. With the long holiday weekend at hand, consider a trip to the museum as a fantastic respite from too much turkey, football and shopping.

It's not just your kids who are inspired by LEGO. To prove that point, the Columbus Museum of Art and COSI have partnered to present exhibitions and programs that highlight the endless creative capacity of LEGO.

Think Outside the Brick: The Creative Art of LEGO show features: In Pieces: New Work by Nathan Sawaya and Dean West; AFOL (the artists in this group demonstrate a love of LEGO that has persisted into adulthood); Lego Columbus: Central Ohio LEGO Train Club (featuring landmarks from around Columbus created by this group) and Let's Go Lego Community Competition Finalists.

Think Outside the Brick is included with any general CMA admission.
