Kick up your heels at Columbus Commons with Downtown Kickball. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or couch potato wanting to leave your TV remote behind for the summer, the Downtown Kickball League fills the summer with pop-fly fun. Grab your sneakers, bring your friends and let's go. It may seem early, but registration is underway.

Just like last year, two eight-week sessions run back to back to back on Thursday nights from 5:45-8:45 p.m. Session One: June 7 - August 2; Session Two: August 9 - October 4. Each session crowns a champion, which provides big-time bragging rights and no-cost registration for the next session.

The team registration fee costs $275. Each team must be co-ed and carry a minimum of eight players, four women and four men, but fill your roster with all your favorite peeps if you choose. The registration deadline is May 29 or when the league fills.

Plan to come to the Commons early and stay late for the Downtown Live! Summer Concert Series, which also begins June 7. Whether you field a team or not, you can always kick back to drink a frosty brew and listen to live music. Rumor has it there will even be a food truck or two. What are you waiting on?
