Wanna get happy and cultural, all at the same time? Kick off your weekend early with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Happy Hour. Head over to the Ohio Theatre on Thursday, October 2; the bar opens at 5:30 p.m. and the concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

There is no cost to attend. Enjoy complimentary appetizers, special drink prices and a fabulous and free performance by your very own Columbus Symphony. Guest conductor Stephen Squires and the symphony will perform Vaughan Williams, Serenade to Music; Stacy Garrop, Thunderwalker; and Mozart, Symphony No. 40.

What better way to fit some culture in your calendar? And once you are hooked on the beautiful music our symphony shares, you'll want to hit another one of their shows. Let us know about your favorite happy hours downtown on our Facebook page to be entered to win two tickets to The Celtic Tenors on Saturday night (just be sure to check back on your post by noon on Wednesday to see if you are the winner).
