It's time to celebrate summer with cool jazz and hot ribs at the Jazz & Ribs Fest. You'll find the finest local, regional and international jazz on three stages in the Arena District. Plus, you can fill your belly with mouth-watering ribs, chicken and more from masters of the BBQ arts.

There is no cost to enter the festival and enjoy the music. Whew, that leaves you more funds for BBQ treats and cold drinks. You'll find vittles from award-winning rib-burners representing 10 states and Canada. The fight is on for the "Best Ribs" award. You won't want to miss a bite.

The stages at McFerson Commons and North Bank Park will feature performances from the best regional and international jazz artists, including Terence Blanchard, Brian Culbertson, Earl Klugh, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the Soul Rebels, and Jessy J. The Jazz Cafe at North Bank Pavilion will showcase local artists as well.

The festival runs Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20. The hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
