Just because something is pointless doesn’t mean it’s not totally cool! Next month’s fourth annual Pointless Pursuit is proof. This scavenger hunt/race dubbed “a wacky urban adventure” will put your in mind of the popular show The Amazing Race. Participants wind their way through the unique neighborhoods of Columbus in a bid to solve tricky clues and compete in quirky challenges.
Slated for September 9, this year’s Pursuit will kick off at noon and last a maximum of five hours. Registered teams will receive their “passport” which contains clues, games, puzzles and riddles that will lead them through their challenges. For each successfully completed challenge, teams will get a stamp in their Passport. Once the Passport has all the required stamps, teams can head to the finish line. There are fabulous prizes (including some cashola) for the winner!
So grab a pal and plan to be pointless for a day. You can register here. Act quickly though; registration rates rise after August 31!
And you can feel good about participating, as the event benefits The Crawford Crew, which helps raise awareness of cervical cancer and benefits research done at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.
