Come downtown this weekend to celebrate the sights, sounds and tastes of the Latin community at Festival Latino. This event won't cost you a dime and is filled to the sombrero brim with food, music, art, dance, fashion and fantastic family fun from the heart of Latin America.
What was once a five-hour pilot community project is now, in its 17th year, a two-day festival and one of the highlights of the Columbus festival season. This year, the music line-up is headlined by Obie Bermudez on Saturday night and Miriam Cruz on Sunday night.
Now produced by CAPA and presented by Honda, the Latin Festival has maintained its roots in Latin music, food and arts while beefing up the family-friendly offerings.
The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day at Genoa Park.
