Labor Day. Around the corner? Whatever. Downtown Live Summer Concerts will make you forget the fact that summer is in short supply. There was a bit of a hiatus, so a quick refresher is in order. Columbus Commons will be the place to be Thursday, and a few food trucks will even be on hand so forget elaborate dinner plans.

The Alive! Bands to Watch Reunion hits Bicentennial Pavilion on Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saintseneca, Way Yes and the Dew Droppers are crowd favorites all over Cbus, and Thursday gives you the chance to stretch out and see all three under the stars at Columbus Commons.

Keep it simple. Grab a blanket or lawn chairs and meet some friends at the park. If you want a beverage or two or some good eats from one of the food trucks, cram a little cash in your pocket, and you’re set.

The next two Thursdays are the last for Downtown Live this summer so kick back and enjoy. Hats and mittens will all too soon replace frosty beverages on warm summer nights, and we’ll all wish we had just one more shot at summer. Here’s your chance.
