For some, coffee is a means to an end; that jolt that gets you going each morning or all day long. For others, it’s practically a religion. No matter which category you fall into, Columbus is one heck of a coffee town, and you can find all kinds of interesting and delicious brews citywide, enhanced by local grass-fed milk and cream (so yummy). And if you decide to tackle the Columbus Coffee Trail, you can even get some swag.
The Columbus Coffee Trail features 21 locations (most in and close to downtown) that offer a wide array of roasted bean goodness. To tackle the Trail, just pick up a card at any of the participating locations. When you buy your cup of joe, ask to get your card stamped. Once you have visited four or more participating stops, head to an Experience Columbus’ downtown visitors center (either in the Arena District or the Greater Columbus Convention Center) to pick up your free Columbus Coffee t-shirt.
Participating downtown locations include Brioso Roastery and Coffee Bar, Cafe Brioso, Cup o’ Joe Downtown, One Line Coffee Downtown, Red Velvet Cafe and Roosevelt Coffee. And while not on the trail, we’d like to give a shout out to our friends at Hemingway Coffee Nook. Comment on our Facebook page, letting us know your favorite thing about Columbus Commons and you'll be entered to win a pound of coffee and a Paris mug from Hemingway Coffee Nook.
