Haunted Statehouse Tours Promise Scary FunGoblins and ghosts will only appear for a short time, and the Haunted Statehouse promises scary fun. Nab your tickets quickly because the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board only presents this spooky event for a few nights before Halloween. Get the scoop on how to get your tickets as well as tour costs. Buy your tickets early because tours always sell out, and you don't want to be boo-hooing instead of boooo-boooooing.

Conductors will lead visitors through the dimly lit limestone winding halls of the Ohio Statehouse by lantern. So, march on through, or just peek through the slits of your fingers. You'll get a spooky good time, and your tour leaders will share some history, myths and few legends along the way.

Whether a kid or a kid at heart, the haunted tour makes for a great family outing, but the tour could get a little too spooky for wee ones under nine. If you arrive early, take time to write your own “Ghost Post” to one of the Statehouse's resident spirits, or enjoy some arts and crafts before the tour begins.

And don’t get scared about getting there or where to park. Coming by car? No problem, just drive into the Ohio Statehouse underground parking garage, or better yet, take the bus. The CBUS runs up and down High Street from the Brewery District to the Short North. So, hop off right at the Statehouse front door, but enter the tour on Third Street. Oh yea, and the CBUS is free.
