Think pumpkins, games, crafts and plenty of room to play. And, big inflatable bouncy things. Yep, it’s all Downtown at the Harvest Fair this Saturday at Columbus Commons. They’ve lined up plenty of family fun and live music to boogie, shimmy and skip to.

First, the nitty gritty. The event goes from 12 – 4 p.m. this Saturday, September 29. And the best part? It’s free to get in. If you want to hop on the inflatables, you’ll need to buy a $5 wristband. The Okee Dokee Brothers will perform at 12 and 3 p.m. You don’t want to miss these Grammy-award winning musicians. No need to bring dance shoes—just let the grass tickle your toes.

After you finish with games and crafts, how about tag? There’s lots of room to spread out and have fun. If the kiddos still need to release some energy, check out the NEOS Electric playground. There are 10 different ways to get active, which means hours of play. This playground within a playground sticks around through the year. So, if you miss it during the Harvest Fair, you still have lots of time to play.

But it’s the last chance of the season to take the carousel for a spin. Did you know that each of the carousel’s rounding boards tell stories of the very best things in Columbus? It’s a whirling city tour—right Downtown.

Before you go, fuel up. Lucky for you, Jeni’s Ice Creams offers up an assortment of goodies. Need to eat lunch or dinner first? No problem. Tortilla will serve up a fiesta of Mexican food during the Harvest Fair.
