Downtown Music Trivia at Buckeye Bourbon HouseCan you name that tune in three notes? Okay, so Downtown Music Trivia gives you an entire music clip, but this game-night fun at Buckeye Bourbon House promises to rock the house. And even better? As you kick back after a long work day, you also bring out your giving side. Downtown Music Trivia is a special Fun-Raiser, which will help people experiencing homelessness.

You may have noticed an increase in the number of folks in need Downtown. Homelessness is an issue that is a world-wide concern. Capital Crossroads and Discovery Special Improvement Districts employ two, full-time outreach specialists who help people in need. But there are extra things that folks need, like bus passes to get to a job interview or birth certificates to help with housing applications. These things add up, and we know people want to help. A Downtown Music Trivia Fun-raiser is just the way.

All you have to do is gather your posse. Whether you choose friends or co-workers (or both) choose teams up to six people. The entry fee is $100, but all proceeds support homeless outreach in Downtown. In addition to the trivia game, you’ll enjoy some great nosh complements of Buckeye Bourbon House. If you just want to hang out for the fun, nosh and a good cause, you can do that, too, for just $25. And if you’re wondering how much one person can do? Well, $100 would buy more than 20 day-long bus passes. So, every bit counts.

So, how do you sign up? First, you get two times to choose from on March 19. Both sessions take place at Buckeye Bourbon House, which is at 36 E. Gay Street. If you’re ready to sign up, head on over to Eventbrite to sign up for the 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. sessions.
