Eddie George in ChicagoSometimes couples just can't agree on a fun night out. Indeed, arguments over rom-coms versus thrillers and musicals versus a ballgame are the stuff of legend (and many a meme). Broadway in Columbus offers the perfect solution to this age-old dilemma, just in time for a little early Valentine's Day fun, no less. Beloved musical Chicago hits the Palace stage February 6 - 11 starring Buckeye and NFL great and Heisman Trophy-winner Eddie George. (Cue the "Eddie! Eddie!" chant).

For those who haven't kept up with Eddie George since his days as a star running back, this may come as a shock. But no one can dispute George's acting chops. From turns as Othello and Julius Caesar in the Nashville Shakespeare Festival to the same Billy Flynn role in Chicago on Broadway in 2016, George has made the transition from the gridiron to the stage with verve.

Eddie George may provide some extra draw, but Chicago remains one of the best-loved (and longest running) musicals for a reason. The story of Roxie Hart, housewife, dancer and murderess, set in 1920's Chicago dazzles and entertains start to finish. Enjoy favs like All that Jazz, When You're Good to Momma and, of course, Razzle Dazzle, plus dancing galore. Add in a talent like George, and you won't want to miss the fun. Also, plan to grab some pre- or post-game, er, show nosh at a downtown hot spot for a full evening of winter fun.
