Pride and Prejudice altJane Austen fans set your pride aside and make plans now to see Available Light Theatre perform Pride and Prejudice at Riffe Center’s Studio One. The show hits the stage December 13 -16, and it received rave reviews the last time it was performed in Cbus.

Available Light Theatre will present a reprise of their production of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, adapted by Daniel Elihu Kramer and directed by Eleni Papleonardos, at The Riffe Center’s Studio One Theatre.

This "romantic deconstruction" of the world's most popular love story is the classic novel you know and love - amplified and augmented on-stage by the world of bloggers, amateur commentators, and scholarly pundits. Daniel Elihu Kramer’s adaptation, originally performed by Available Light Theatre in 2010, was described by Michael Grossberg of The Columbus Dispatch as, “destined to be seen and celebrated across the country." See this year’s preview video and show times at the Available Light Theatre site.

Grab your friends, your family, all the literature-lovers you know and treat them to a holiday present they’ll remember. This year’s performance features Acacia Duncan, Drew Eberly, Kim Garrison Hopcraft, Michelle G. Schroeder and Ian Short.

Forward your Right Now Downtown email to one of your Jane Austen friends or just another theatre lover, and you will both be entered to win a pair of tickets to the show.
