Tis’ the season. By now, you’ve probably recovered from Black Friday, and hopefully, you supported our downtown retailers on Small Business Saturday. It’s still early though, and you might have a few more people to check off the list. How about unique art? CCAD hosts a Student Art Show on December 5.
The semi-annual showcase of student and alumni artwork runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Loann Crane Center for Design, and it costs just five bucks to get in. If you don’t want to take a chance of someone else buying your art, for $50 score a First Look preview from 9 to 10 a.m. Either way, everyone wins. You take home incredible art for you and all the people on your shopping list, and the proceeds support student wellness initiatives.
Love jewelry, pottery, paintings, leather work, and sculpture? No problem. It will all be at the show. For more information, contact Susan Quinlan at squinlan@ccad.edu or 614.222.3260 to reserve admission for the First Look. For more info, visit www.ccad.edu. Have fun!
