Dinosaur Gallery Opens at COSILittle kids and big kids alike can't get enough of dinosaurs. Seeing Jurassic Park and Jurassic World over and over put dinosaurs in our minds forever. So, we all take every chance to take in these extinct giants. Dinosaur nuts will roar with excitement about COSI's newest exhibit. Last weekend, Dinosaur Gallery opened to the public. And, we know you won't want to miss it.

With the American Museum of Natural History, Dinosaur Gallery brings the world of dinosaurs to you. Get up close and personal with dinosaurs through all kinds of interactive experiences.

Dinosaur Gallery Details

Check out the American Museum of Natural History's specimens and collections. Think of it as all things dinosaur. Take in a full-size cast of a tyrannosaurus rex (spoiler alert: it's big). Then, wonder at a 100-million-year-old fossilized Burmese amber with an ancient feather sealed inside (spoiler alert: that's old). Also, find an eight-foot titanosaur femur (spoiler alert: that's one big leg bone).

Let the kids get their wiggles out while climbing the full-scale model of an Oviraptor egg nest. Then, trick them into learning all kinds of facts about these animals. It feels like they never really left. You'll totally dig the six-foot mechanical T-rex model that walks in place. Super cool, yes. But also super educational about biomechanics and paleontology.

With so much to see, you'll need to come back again and again. Luckily, the exhibit isn't going anywhere. You and the family will have plenty of chances to see it all. Dinosaur Gallery is also included with admission or membership.
