Having a real spring brightens the mood, for sure. But, the approach of summer may bring on some “My God I will need to wear a bathing suit soon” stress. So, even if you kept up with a workout regimen through the winter months, one joy of sunshiny days is the opportunity to exercise outdoors. Yes, no more treadmills. No more spin bikes. No more stairclimbers. So, get ready to get going under the bright blue sky with Columbus Commons Fitness Classes. And, gather with friends to get your sweat on.

Session I runs April 30 through May 29. With seven classes to choose from, you’ll never get bored. And, all you need to do is sign a waiver. Plus, you won't owe a dime or need to sign a contract. Seven Studios coordinates the classes, which are sponsored by UnitedHealthcare. Getting or staying fit couldn’t be easier.

Columbus Commons Fitness Class Offerings

  • Commons Cardio on Tuesdays from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.
  • Yoga/Pilates Fusion on Tuesdays from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.
  • Hip Hop on Wednesdays from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.
  • Kickboxing on Wednesdays from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.
  • Yoga on Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 - 10 a.m.
  • Zumba on Saturdays from 10 - 11 a.m.

All classes are held at Columbus Commons. Before you come, fill out and submit a waiver online. Then, when you attend your first class, stop by the check-in table on the west side of the stage to confirm your waiver. Easy peasy. Attend one class or seven a week; the choice is yours. And, class times lend themselves perfectly to a pre- or post-class happy hour or coffee break. So, swing by Hemingway Coffee Nook for some caffeine-kick.
