Beat the hot, hazy days of summer with cool art at Columbus Metropolitan Library. Hurry, Seasons of Our Lives wraps up soon. Worry not, though. We’ll also give you the full line-up, which will take you well past crisp days of autumn. And, you’ll get the chance to win some drinks on us. Because you know, everyone needs a cool drink on a hot day.

With support of the Friends of the Library, Carnegie Gallery brings Columbus Metropolitan Library visitors unique experiences. Columbus-based artist, Stephanie Rond, curates the gallery. So, get ready to be impressed. The gallery features work of both emerging and established artists. Oh, and it won’t cost you a dime to chill and check out the exhibit.

Go on up to the second floor of Main Library to check out the show. Pssst… most artwork in the exhibits is for sale. Since the show is free, you’ll have more cold-hard cash to add to your personal gallery. Friends of the Library receive a 30 percent commission. So, you'll support Ohio-based artists and Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Season of Our Lives wraps up on August 24, but get your calendar out. Columbus Metropolitan Library offers many more exhibits through the end of the year. They also host opening receptions if you want to party with a posse.
