We’ve heard a lot of talk over the last couple years about Café Brioso adding a Long Street location. Good news, all. It’s happened! Café Brioso owner Jeff Davis was one of the first business owners to take a chance on Gay Street (before it was the Gay Street District), and now he’s opened a new shop in the Discovery District. Read on to find out more about the new digs and to enter to win a java jolt compliments of Café Brioso.



The new location, Brioso Coffee, is located at 315 East Long Street and offers a coffee bar and a new roasting facility, which will accommodate its growing wholesale demand. A limited menu of baked goods will also be available.

“The new interactive retail and business-to-business space will focus on the whole process of making coffee,” Davis said. “The new space allows us to thoughtfully grow our wholesale brand.”

Not only do the new digs offer an opportunity to grow the wholesale side of things, the location allows for a coffee lab and training space. Davis designed the coffee bar with customer interaction in mind, which provides focus to the individual cup.

Look for coffee tastings and special events soon. The new shop is open seven days a week: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday.
