Columbus Startup Week is right around the corner, and organizers added something new this year. They want to see passion, drive, creativity, connections and community before the event so they’re holding a poster contest (yes, that means someone is gonna win a stack of Ben Franklins).
The event takes place May 2-6, and is a free. Columbus Startup Week is a five-day celebration of the Columbus community, which builds momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship. Local entrepreneurs lead the event, and you’ll see amazing spaces all over the city.
To get a head start on the event, organizers want graphic artists, illustrators and typography-lovers to create custom designs that shows the defining themes of the Columbus Startup community: Passion, Drive, Creativity, Connections and Community.
All designs must be submitted by March 25 at 11:59 p.m. Now, just like any contest, there’s some fine print, but not much, and you can find it here.
If you have questions, email Jill Londino at jflondino@gmail.com and she can give you the full scoop. Oh, and don’t forget to sign up for updates about the event here.
