Sure, an amazing art scene takes talent, and it also takes a ton of commitment and collaboration, which is why Columbus is successful. Now, Art Makes Columbus/Columbus Makes Art makes art even more accessible as it highlights the vitality, innovation and connectivity of the Columbus arts community. We also found out there's a way to nominate local artists for spotlight features.



Every artist has an incredible tale of inspiration, creation and challenge, and now there's a place to share a little bit of this story, so we can truly appreciate the artist's journey and realize what cool things are happening right here in Cbus. Greater Columbus Arts Council, along with a host of collaborative partners, developed a five-year campaign, Art Makes Columbus/Columbus Makes Art, to spotlight the creative talent in our community and to give the public easy access to events and venues around town where they can engage in all the art community has to offer.

"Our musicians, painters, dancers, sculptors, actors and artists of all disciplines have inspiring stories, and we're excited to tell them across this great community," said Tom Katzenmeyer, president and CEO of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
