Chet's JewelersAfter 38 years as part of the downtown landscape, Chet’s Jewelers will close their doors for good on December 30. For nearly four decades, those working and living downtown have enjoyed a true neighborhood jeweler, a spot where you could find the perfect gift, have jewelry repaired and get your watch battery changed.

Their Retirement Sale is in full swing, offering fabulous deals on remaining merchandise. Everything left in stock is available for 50 percent off. You can even shop a special showcase filled with great gift ideas for $50 or less. While they are no longer accepting jewelry repairs, you can still stop in for watch batteries or work on a watch band (these services are not covered under the discount).

In discussing her pending retirement, Portia noted, “I was born and raised in Columbus and have enjoyed being a merchant here. I am sad to leave, but want to go out on a high note!”

Capital Crossroads and the downtown community wish the Chet’s Jewelers family a relaxing, wonderful retirement that is no doubt well earned.
