Capital Goods imageThe downtown shopping scene is getting ready to grow. Could it come at a better time? Local designers Liz Bourgeois and Ivena Dehl will open their new boutique, Capital Goods, next week on December 15. The spot will open in the Shops at Capitol Square (65 E. State Street), featuring repurposed furniture from Dehl’s Furbished brand and fashion favorites from Bourgeois’ Team Chipmunk. Even better news: there will be special events, promotions and benefits for local schools and non-profits all week long. (And if you would like a sneak peek before the grand opening, you can pop in during their soft opening this week).

Stop in and take in the wide array of repurposed furniture, handmade clothes, gifts, home goods and more. In addition to offering unique merchandise, Dehl and Bourgeois pride themselves on outstanding and friendly customer service. Let them help you find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Trust us, they are up on all the latest trends, tricks and tips. You’ll become the most sought after Santa on the block.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. on December 15. Stop by for grand opening fun, including vintage silhouettes, mini-portrait sessions and beauty consultations. You can also join them for evening workshops that let you make creative gifts, including super hero capes, heirloom gifts and holiday ornaments.

Both entrepreneurs are excited about their new downtown location. “We are excited to open our new store in Downtown Columbus and join a vibrant, growing community,” said Liz Bourgeois.

They also look forward to giving back to the community, through support of local organizations, schools and charities. In addition, they will support other local and regional entrepreneurs by featuring their products in their well-curated mix of products.
