Downtown Ambassadors put a lot of elbow grease into the district, and they offer up an extra set of eyes and ears to make sure Downtown remains one of the safest places around. Keeping busy since 2002, Capital Crossroads also makes time for special projects like helping the homeless, planting flowers and working on parking solutions. Discovery
Stand under the iconic ART sculpture and see where arts, culture and knowledge meet. You’ll see Discovery SID ambassadors there, too, cruising by on bikes. Since 2007, they’ve been riding around this downtown neighborhood keeping an eye on things. And if you notice someone who needs a little help, homeless outreach specialists lend a hand.
